Detailer

Tampa Florida Kenworth, is accepting applications for a Detailer position. Responsibilities include refurbishing new and used vehicles. Previous Industry/Heavy-duty background is preferred. Responsibilities:

• Cleans and refurbishes new and used diesel trucks

Primary Duties:

• Wash vehicle exterior using a pressure washer
• Applies wax to polish and buff surfaces to protect and preserve shine using cloth or buffing machine
• Vacuum interiors of trucks to remove loose dirt and debris using a vacuum cleaner
• Cleans upholstery, rugs, and other surfaces using cleaning agents, applicators and cleaning devices
• Applies revitalizers and preservatives to vinyl or leather surfaces and treats fabrics with spot and stain resistant chemicals to preserve and protect interior components
• Applies special purpose cleaners to remove foreign materials which do not respond to normal cleaning procedures, utilizing experience and following recommendations of product manufacturer
• Stage trucks for sale
• Other duties, as assigned

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree (AA) preferred
• Must have a CDL – class A or B and clean driving record
• Industry/Heavy-duty equipment knowledge preferred
• Ability to work in a dealership environment with frequent exposure to weather elements
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, stoop and or lift/move up to 75 lbs on a regular basis
• Ability to work 8 – 10 hour days, including overtime hours as needed
