CSM Companies, Inc, located in Madison, WI, is seeking a talented individual for an Human Resource Coordinator position. This position is ideal for an individual with a degree or related degree in human resources(preferred), has experience in human resources, and effective communication skills. Responsibilities:

  • Administering the Human Resources programs for the company which includes staffing, compensation, training, and others
  • Maintain HR records by recording new hires, transfers, terminations, changes in job classifications, merit increases, tracking vacation, sick and personal time

Primary Duties:

  • Processing benefit applications, reconciling monthly benefit bills, working with insurance carriers, and assisting employees
  • May assist with open enrollment activities
  • Coordinates the billing and results of pre-employment testing
  • Assist with the processing of all HR paperwork and maintaining HR data
  • Assists in the recruitment efforts for open positions; including creating job postings, advertising, tracking applicants, preparing questions, and scheduling interviews
  • Assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures
  • Administration of FMLA, worker’s compensation and disability leave in accordance with federal, state, and carrier policies
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related degree (preferred)
  • 2+ years human resources experience with specific knowledge of benefit administration, staffing, compensation, training, performance management, and employee relations
  • Knowledge and ability to understand and apply regulations, procedures, and guidelines
  • Must have a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations
  • Highly proficient using Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint; experience maintaining information and writing reports in HRIS systems
  • Ability to prioritize work within established guidelines and follow through on a variety of requests
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail is required
