Responsibilities:

  • Develops and executes marketing plans and programs, both short and long range, to ensure growth and expansion
  • Plans and oversees the organization’s advertising and promotion activities, including print, electronic and digital
  • Ensures effective control of marketing results to achieve marketing objectives

Primary Duties:

  • Oversees copy-writing, design, layout and production of promotional materials
  • Develop and implement marketing plans and projects for new and existing products/services
  • Evaluates market reactions to advertising programs
  • Communicates with outside marketing material vendors regarding ongoing campaigns
  • Develop and expand marketing platforms
  • Ensures effective, branded marketing communications including the company website, print communication and advertising
  • Manage the productivity of the marketing plans and projects
  • Researches, analyzes, and monitors financial, technological and demographic factors to capitalize on market opportunities
  • Recommends changes in basic structure and organization of the marketing group to ensure the effective fulfillment of objectives
  • Create marketing presentations
  • Collaborate with all other departments on marketing needs

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field
  • 5-7 years of experience in marketing and/or management
  • Management skills to include strategic plan development, decision making abilities and program implementation
  • Supervisory skills to include the ability to coach, train, and motivate subordinates to reach established department goals
  • Experience in all aspects of developing and managing marketing strategies
  • Familiarity and skill with Adobe Photoshop Suite, Word Press, public relations, written communication, website development, market research and analysis, Microsoft Software Suite, visual communication, and creative services
  • Relevant product and industry knowledge is preferred
  • Ability to see the big picture and provide useful advise and input to direct reports
  • Ability to continuously improve methods, approaches and departmental contributions
  • Experience in internet marketing and social media strategies
  • Ability to effectively present information to top management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and process multiple projects simultaneously
