Responsibilities:

  • Supports the truck inventory and sales departments through the preparation and processing of truck acquisition and truck sales
  • Creates, updates, and files a Truck File for every new and used heavy-duty vehicle sold
  • Promotes effective communication with sales department while ensuring all required information is obtained in a timely fashion
  • Quickly and efficiently processes sales related documentation

Primary Duties:

  • Manage truck file records for each inventory unit held and sold within your assigned territory, including invoicing, repair orders, add-on costs
  • Review truck purchase requests for appropriate documentation
  • Coordinate periodic truck inventory test counts with branch employees at locations
  • Reconcile inventory between general ledger, sales ledger and online truck inventory
  • Review sales records and prepare revenue transactions in the general ledger for truck sales
  • Coordinate payments for trucks based upon funding and delivery
  • Track commissions earned on truck sales for salespeople within your assigned territory
  • Ensure the timely completion of delivery documents needed to support sales staff during the sale process including Department of Transportation (DOT) forms including manufacturer statement of origin (MSO), titling paperwork, warranty paperwork, and finance contracts
  • Prepare management reports related to truck inventory and sales
  • Other tasks to support the truck sales function

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree (AA) or comparable work experience, in a sales or inventory environment; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Telephone, customer service, and computer skills to include proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines while simultaneously processing multiple tasks
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and results-driven
