Kenworth now offers two additional ratings for the 12.9-liter PACCAR MX-13 engine, which is available in the Kenworth T680, T880, and the all-new W990.
The first new offering of 405 horsepower and 1,650 pound-foot of torque provides constant power for linehaul applications, enhances integration with the PACCAR Powertrain, and offers increased fuel efficiency.
The second new offering is a multi-torque, 455 horsepower rating. With 1,650/1,850 pound-foot of torque, this application is optimized for fuel-conscious heavy haul fleets by providing additional torque in the top two gears while pulling a load up a hill, eliminating the need to downshift.
In summary, the PACCAR MX-13 engine now offers ranges of 405 to 510 horsepower and 1,450 to 1,850 pound-foot of torque.

The PACCAR MX-11 engine features superior performance, a powerful and lightweight design, and ranges of 355 to 430 hp and 1,250 to 1,650 lb-ft of torque.
