MADISON, WISCONSIN – February 1, 2018 – CSM Companies, Inc. has acquired the operating assets of the Berger Dealer Group, LLC which does business as Eastern Michigan Kenworth and Central Michigan Kenworth. The acquisition includes four locations in Dearborn, Clinton Township, Saginaw, and Lansing. CSM subsidiary Michigan Kenworth, LLC will operate the four locations. Along with existing locations in Grand Rapids and Gaylord, Michigan Kenworth will now service the entire state of Michigan for Kenworth Truck Company.

“This acquisition is a significant expansion for CSM in a key market for many of our fleet customers as well as for Kenworth. We now have the ability to provide the high level of service our customers expect from the Kenworth brand,” said Mike Clark, President of CSM Truck. To do that we provide up-to-date service equipment, factory trained technicians, large replacement part inventories, rental vehicles, and concierge service support nationwide.”

Mike Clark also announced the appointments of Mike McNutt as Regional Vice President and General Manager of Michigan Kenworth and James Kamps as Vice President of Truck Sales for the state of Michigan. “Mike and Jim’s many years of experience with Kenworth and in the Michigan market will give our customers and employees the support and leadership they expect and deserve,” said Clark.
