Premier Leasing is seeking a talented individual to take on our Rental Manager role in Tampa! This position is ideal for someone with prior sales and customer service experience, effective communication skills, and works well under pressure. We are a successful and growing dealer group that is looking to add another valuable member to our high performing team!

Responsibilities:

  • As a Rental Manager, your main responsibility will be to develop business through the marketing of our rental product lines
  • Grow existing customer base through direct sales
  • Account management for existing accounts in the area(s) of the fleet planning and profitability

Primary Duties:

  • Monitor and adjust fleet utilization throughout various locations
  • Adjust fleet size and mix through asset management and analysis
  • Answer customer questions about products, prices, availability, product use and credit terms
  • Recommend products to customers, based on customer needs and interests
  • Contact regular and prospective customers to demonstrate products, explain product features, solicit orders, and follow up with customers on initial sales contracts
  • Estimate and quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates that meet customer needs
  • Consult with clients after sales or contract signings to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support
  • Identify prospective customers by using business directories, following leads from existing clients, participating in organizations and clubs, and attending trade shows and conferences
  • Arrange and direct delivery and installation of products and equipment
  • Monitor market conditions, product innovations and competitors’ products, prices, and sales
  • Contact businesses or private individuals by telephone in order to solicit sales for goods or services
  • Obtain customer information such as name, address and payment method
  • Maintain records of contacts, accounts, and orders
  • Other projects and tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelors Degree in a related field preferred
  • Minimum two years of customer service and sales experience
  • Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to demonstrate extensive product knowledge to customer and staff to assist with purchase decisions
  • Ability to prioritize and handle numerous tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to work well under pressure while assisting a wide variety of customers and fostering relationships with key industry contacts
  • Valid Driver’s License required
  • Willingness to travel as necessary
  • Ability to bend, kneel, stoop, and lift/move up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
  • Ability to work 8-10 hour days, including overtime hours as needed
  • Ability to work outdoors and in an environment with occasional exposure to weather elements
  • Willingness to travel as necessary
