UPDATE – SAHLING KENWORTH CELEBRATES A NEW BEGINNING IN COLUMBUS.

Coming off a summer-long construction project in Columbus, Nebraska, Sahling Kenworth can now boast a Columbus facility with four additional full-service bays, and an expansive parts warehouse. On hand for the event were Mike Clark, President of CSM Truck, and Eric Bontrager, Director of Parts for CSM Truck. Both Mike and Eric addressed the importance of meeting the needs of valuable customers and growing with a thriving community in Columbus.

Jason Rasmussen, General Manager of Sahling Kenworth’s York and Columbus branches, was elated when talking about the potential this expansion brings for the Columbus and the community it serves. “It’s going to really increase the customer support that we are able to provide everybody,” he said to NATASYA ONG of The Columbus Telegram.

October proved to be a busy month for CSM, as the group celebrated a PACCAR PARTS Dealer of the Year award, a new master technician, and a celebration of the W990.

Columbus, NE – Sahling Kenworth has broken ground! On June 8, Sahling Kenworth held a Groundbreaking Ceremony at their Columbus, Nebraska location. The ceremony featured many vital members of the Columbus community, including representatives of the Columbus Area Chamber of Commerce, the City of Columbus, and Columbus’s mayor, Jim Bulkley, in attendance.

The ceremony honored Sahling Kenworth’s latest expansion – 2,800 square feet of warehouse space and two state-of-the-art drive-thru service bays for Kenworth Premier Care Express service and diagnostics.

In a statement, CSM Companies President Mike Clark summed up the project. “CSM Companies is expanding the Sahling Kenworth – Columbus location to better service our customers. The additional parts storage will improve parts availability for both pick up and delivery orders. By adding service bays, we add service availability and capabilities to our customers. We are proud to represent the Kenworth brand and our team looks forward to helping serve our loyal customers.”

During his ceremony speech, Jason Rasmussen (General Manager of Sahling’s Columbus and York locations) commented:

 “With the economy of Columbus expanding, we saw an area of opportunity in truck industry support. We are excited to be a part of this growth and to provide this support through our larger facility, extended hours of operation, and additional team members.”
