WAUSAU, WI – March 21, 2018 – On March 15, 2018, the Wausau branch of Wisconsin Kenworth attended the United Way of Marathon County Youth Hiring Fair at the Boys & Girls Club of the Wausau Area. This event provided the ability to meet with hundreds of students, between the ages of 14-18, that were looking for seasonal, part-time, full-time, and apprenticeship positions in the Wausau area. This is the third year the United Way of Marathon County put on the event.
Walter Hoefs, Jeremy Tritten, and Amy Yessa went to speak with students at this event. Amy Yessa, Wisconsin Kenworth – Wausau’s Office Manager, said the event went great, and commented that this event was a great way to give back to the community and mentor the area’s youth. She went on to say:
“This is an excellent opportunity to reach out to local schools, talk to up and coming talent, introduce them to the idea of the transportation industry, answer questions and steer them in the appropriate direction to take the next steps towards a successful future.”
Wisconsin Kenworth and its parent company, CSM Companies, take great pride in investing in their communities and participating in events like Crazy Legs, Bowling for Kids Sake, and events just like this.
